Conceived as a weekend sanctuary for an industrialist family, this coastal villa is oriented around internal courtyards, reflective water bodies, and mature coconut palms.
We introduced motorized floor-to-ceiling glass pocket doors that slide entirely into wall cavities, transforming the double-height grand living hall into an open-air veranda facing the private infinity pool and coastal forest.
Sustainability and contextual permanence governed every material choice. The ceilings feature reclaimed antique Burma teak battens that absorb echo and radiate golden warmth under ambient cove lighting.
Hand-chiseled local basalt stone walls ground the structure into the landscape, contrasting against refined Italian satin-finish furnishings and bronze lighting fixtures.
